We're moved in! There are still some boxes about, but we're getting there. We still have a few things to buy, but it's slowly but surely becoming our home. I think we're going to love it here, and I hope the girls will enjoy it once they get here!
Speaking of the girls, they are kicking like c-r-a-z-y. They've been really, really active. Sometimes, that's good, but other times, it can be a bit painful. Just now, one of the girls did something - I'm not sure what - that did not feel right. I guess space is getting a bit tight for them, so they're trying to stretch wherever they can!
I've been having some of the Braxton Hicks contractions. Some are more noticeable than others, but I've called the midwives to ask their opinion. They said it's perfectly normal and that, with twins, I'm more likely to notice them than someone with a single pregnancy. But I'm trying to write them all down now to keep track of how often they're happening. They're not really going with a set pattern or anything, though, and sometimes I'm not 100% sure if what's going on is a contraction or something else.
George seems to be settling into his new role nicely. His passing out parade is this week on Friday, so really looking forward to seeing him in his snazzy new uniform. I might try to do a bit of shopping before then - I'm not sure what to wear, but I want to look nice!
