American holiday

Hello! Hope you're all well. Well, if you read the blog yesterday, you know that the girls are officially American citizens and that their passports are on the way. You might be wondering about how we're going to put those passports to use. In November, we'll be making our first big trip to America. Scary, but exciting! Here's to hoping we don't become the most hated people on the plane with a few screaming babies.

We've finally firmed up our schedule, which is really exciting. And in case you're wondering where we'll be and how you can catch us, here's our planned schedule:

16 November - Leave London, arrive in St Louis, stay at the Westport Chalet
17 November - Westport Chalet
18 November - Westport Chalet
19 November - Check out of the Westport Chalet, drive to Illinois
20 November - Dad's house
21 November - Dad's house
22 November - Turkey Day
23 November - Recover and shop
24 November - Leave for our family holiday, visit Metropolis and stay around the mountains
25 November - Walk around the mountains, then drive to the resort in South Carolina
26 November - South Carolina
27 November - South Carolina
28 November - South Carolina
29 November - South Carolina
30 November - Leave SC, drive up to Nashville
1 December - Finish driving to Illinois for the wedding!
2 December - Recover (and wish my big sis a happy anniversary!)
3 December - Check into Westport hotel
4 December - Leave for London

As George says, the schedule sounds very relaxing :) But we'd love to see as many of you in America as possible, so start having a think about what days would work for you so we can schedule something. We won't always have a car, but since we'll be spending a few nights in a pretty central location in St Louis, I'm hoping you all might be willing to meet us somewhere around there for a meal, a drink and/or a general catch-up.
