Hello! Hope you're all well. I promise to do a pictures-only update soon, but at the moment, you just have my words. Hope they're fun enough to read. :)
Isabella has had a few night adventures - she's been sleeping in her bed in the nursery on her own! The girls seem to wake each other up, so we decided to trial a new sleeping arrangement. So far, it seems to be working. They're no longer hitting one another several times a night, which is great progress. And if one is crying/fussing, the other one isn't constantly woken up by whimpers. Win-win! So Isabella has been the brave one in the room on her own (baby monitor keeps me in the loop with her noises, though) and Adriana has been the one in our room. Adriana still needs her binky in the night, so it's easier to have her in our room - less distance to travel. And because Adriana seems to move more in her sleep than Isabella, it's good to keep a little bit of a closer look on her. Last night, her feet were at the bottom of her cot. This morning around 3am, her head was at the bottom. She did a 180 turn! Crazy kid.
In other Isabella news, she's getting so much better at grabbing things and bringing them to her mouth. Although this new hand-eye coordination makes me a proud momma, it also makes me realise that things need to be carefully hidden. Put away. Stored in a box in the attic. Otherwise we'll be going to the hospital. I'm hoping that, in some respects, my kids aren't too much like me - here's to hoping they won't be uncoordinated, accident-prone individuals!
All right, I'd better finish my breakfast snack and go upstairs. It's about time for the girls to wake up demanding their food. Hope you're all well, and I'll update again soon. Lots of love from us all.
