Hello, everyone! Hope you're all well. We've had a few good days here. Things have been fairly busy, but Bente is kindly down helping again while George is dealing with the Olympic madness in London. I think we're all looking forward to the end of his Olympic shifts!
Adriana is doing really well, and I think her eyes are starting to turn a gorgeous shade of brown. Makes sense that she has her Daddy's eye colour since she's a Daddy's girl! And - most amazing of all - she slept through the WHOLE NIGHT last night. The whole night! It took a little while to settle her last night, and George had to give her her binky a few times, but she went to bed around 9.30 or 10 and didn't wake up for a feed till 7am! This miraculous event will hopefully be repeated again and again and again ...
Isabella is doing well as well, but she sadly didn't sleep quite as well as Adriana did last night. She was a bit easier to settle, but she woke at about 12.30 or so and came into bed for a feed and cuddle. She ended up staying in bed all night, and I had to push George away a few times. He was getting too close for comfort, considering he was sound asleep. As far as her eye colour goes, I'm still not quite sure. Sometimes I think they're blue/grey, but sometimes they seem green. They're a darker colour, whichever way they end up going.
I've gone through their clothes again, and I've had to retire a few more outfits. They're growing like weeds, these girls. We've got so many lovely outfits for them, and it's so odd to start using their bigger sizes. I remember when we got them, I thought it'd be ages before they'd fit into them. And yet, here they are! It's almost hard now to remember them as the little bitty things they were.
Adriana is working on walking, so we're thinking of getting her a walker so she can play a bit easier. Izzy seems to like being on her tummy more, so she enjoys tummy time. She's still able to support her weight quite well, although she bends her knees after a few seconds. I think she'll walk before she crawls - no bad thing!
OK, going to head out now. George and I might go spend a bit of time just by ourselves while Farmor watches the girls. The sky has turned a bit grey, so just hoping for more sun! Take care, everyone.
Oh! One more thing: We're going to be in the States in November. We're going to be in STL for a bit, then go on a small trip to the Smoky Mountains and then return to STL before heading back to England. If you're around and would like to see us, please get in touch!
I would like to schedule a time to see you during your visit : )
