Dress stays down, knickers stay up

Izzy has taken to pulling her dress up. I keep trying to tell her that it's not quite ladylike to pull your dress up, but she's not listening. But we've developed a very simple rule: dress stays down, knickers stay up. Hopefully they'll both follow that rule for a very, very long time.

They're both napping at the same time right now, which is a bit of a miracle. They seem to enjoy tag-teaming Momma. Although they keep me very busy every day, I'm loving watching them grow. If you could see how well they're sitting, how much they're smiling and how much they're paying attention to everything - toys, sounds, people - you'd be amazed.

They're also starting to sleep a little bit better. It's hit and miss, really. Last night they slept till almost 4am until they woke for their first feed, but some nights it's only 1.30am when they wake up. But we're getting there!

Yesterday, Tom and Kirsty came down for a visit and we did a bit of shopping. It was nice to see them and to show off the twins, and we managed to find some toys for the girls! Jacque the peacock and Freddie the firefly are the two newest members of our household. They squeak, the crunch, they reflect and they're apparently very yummy to nom on. I don't want to buy them too many toys, but so far they seem like a good purchase.

And I bought things to make the girls a mobile - it's very simple, but I think it'll be really pretty. I just have to find my needle and thread. It's in my sewing box somewhere, but I have no idea where it is. Maybe in the attic?

No plans for today. George is at work, and they clouds have come out to play. It looks like it might rain any minute now. I think we'll just stay inside and plan with our new friends. Hope you're all well!
